Time for government accountability

"I run for Mayor because Asians are complaining about discrimination. I run for Mayor  because three court Judges told me as a Black American that I am not entitled to housing services."

NEIGHBORHOODS AND THE ENVIRONMENT

This high density gentrification  issue has been increasingly gaining coverage all over the country.  Is transit orientated community (TOC) and high income high density housing another word for Jim Crow segregation? It is an issue that needs to be addressed, and heavily discussed among politicians, lobbyists, and congressmen alike.   I am  pushing for more government accountability and accessibility and I am doing everything I can to see a future where government and developers comply  with the Unruh Act and 42 USC section 1981. . I personally have experienced government unjust refusal to comply with valid Open Records Act Requests. I personally have experienced denial of fair housing services. Do we really want more smog, more traffic, more crime? Voters just approved billions of dollars for supposed high density and affordable housing but where is the accountability of how many units will be built with government assistance?   "I support a 3% property tax decrease for single family home owners for four years." Learn more and join the cause today for fair housing for everyone.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

G. Juan Johnson  is truly passionate about this issue, as it is one that impacts so many people all over the City. They hold this issue close to their heart, working day in and day out to find ways to improve the health and safety for all. The crime of burglary is up in the 10th District.. 2020 Committee to Elect Johnson for Council District 10 support greater police presence, better pay and benefits for police, but also more sensitivity and legal training for Police. "Discriminating...foments social unrest," says the Legislature. Substandard  housing should be a criminal offense against owners of multi-family dwellings. Racist practices and corruption needs to be eliminated  in City departments like rent control and code enforcement. I support mandatory penalties of $5,000 for substandard conditions not eliminated within 15 days of a tenant complaint. This ordinance would not apply to single family homes, businesses, or non-profits. City employees Rushmore Cervantes and Ray Chan need to be fired for directing discriminatory practices. Health and Safety and habitable dwellings should be for Latinos, Blacks, the elderly, the Jews, Veterans, and not just for the privileged few.

 JOBS AND THE CIVIL COURTS

 G. Juan Johnson  is proud to support and push for change throughout the community. This is a very serious issue that has been impacting civilians worldwide.  It is up to you and I ---to address this issue head on, and rally the support needed to make the proper change. If you would like to find out more information about this issue, AND ADD YOUR INPUT, as well as others, please do not hesitate to get in touch.. As a candidate I look forward to the nominating petition in Oct 2021 and needing your signature then, I support 100% employment, constitutional rights, and 42 USC section 1981. I support '0' tolerance for unfair housing, '0' tolerance for unemployment, and '0' tolerance for substandard housing.. I believe most administrative agencies should be eliminated except for health and safety related, such action to be replaced by the elimination of all civil court filing fees and the creation of evening and Saturday civil court proceeding hours.    The elimination of filing fees would not apply to businesses or corporations. In this way we can achieve greater access for the People to the civil courts, and have greater success  rate for fair employment and  housing discrimination complaints.

when dogs think they have more rights than humans   (they don't)

So you are paying $2600 or more for a one bedroom and you just love the neighborhood. But maybe you just moved into a transit orientated center (“TOC”) area like Pico-Fairfax. What you should realize is that for the high income, once these areas really start development, within five years, you who are paying the $2600 rent will be the new low income and you may have to look for a new place to stay. The TOC’s like Pico-Fairfax have made this a very unstable area to live in. But in the meantime, let’s talk about those dogs.

My two examples. I grew up in a house in a residential neighborhood. It was pretty common that you did not walk your dog on someone’s else’s property or allow your dog to crap on someone’s else’s lawn, or else you would probably see that homeowner run out the house after you. Times have changed.I now live in a mixed neighborhood where there are homes as well as apartments. The other day I witnessed (not the first time) three kids together under the age of ten walking two small dogs. On my side of the street the front laws are small about fifteen feet deep. The kids had no problem trampling the lawn with their dogs, hanging upon and intwining themselves in the parking lot security gate. They pulled flowers off the bushes. Another day I saw a young couple (can I say they were White?) maybe in their early thirties on the opposite side of the street walking a dog on a long leash. Now the lawns on that side are large about four car lengths. So the dog and owner walk across the lawn and they are about one car length from the front door of the neighbor and that is where the dog poops.

I believe LA County has a law that animals cannot poop on other people’s property but I don’t think City Los Angeles has the same law. There needs to be a city law that animals are prohibited from pooping on other’s property or there will be $1,000 fine. There needs to be a law that animal owners must bring their own square foot of grass and that is where the animal poops. (Maybe someone will invent such a device.) Owners will be required to potty train their animals to poop on their own 12 inch square portable plot of grass. If you don’t have your own plot of grass with you, that is another $1,000 fine. I think this is a positive solution. I will be posting a new video on this in about a week or so. Animal owners need to have respect for other people’s property. Respect.
